Please read following instructions carefully

• Arrival:
  • Please allow yourself ample time to reach the auditorium and park.
  • All parties under the same ticket MUST arrive at the gate together.
  • Please have your TICKET and ORDER NUMBER ready at the gate. (SEE SCREENSHOT BELOW).
    • Find an email from prabashi.portland@gmail.com in your inbox with subject line containing ”Order Complete”.
    • Have the TICKET, ORDER NUMBER, TIER and QUANTITY information available.
  • Please find the queue for your designated TIER. Look for signs at the gate.
• Parking:
  • Please carpool or use ride-share to save time on parking if possible.
  • DO NOT park in non-designated places.  DO NOT block other cars.
  • Do not leave valuables in the car. Park at your own risk.
• Seating
  • Please find a suitable place in your respective Tier. There is NO assigned seating arrangement.
  • Kids below 6 without a ticket SHOULD NOT occupy seats.
  • Concert will have loud music and strobing lights. May not be suitable for young children and someone sensitive to such stimulant. Plan accordingly.
• Notes
  • Concert is expected to last for 3 hrs. Plan accordingly.
  • Organizers are taking every measure to ensure that you have a pleasant concert experience. However, they are not liable for any loss or damages to properties or injury to persons while attending this concert.

• The tiers in the tickets corresponds to the seating preference in the concert auditorium.
• There is NO assigned seating within each tier. However, adequate seating options are available.

Dear All,

Prabashi is organizing this year’s Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti, our flagship summer event on Saturday, June 10, 2023 afternoon.

Date: Saturday June 10th, 2023; 5:00 pm onwards.
Place: HECSA Auditorium, Portland Balaji Temple, 6100 SW Raab Rd, Portland, OR 97221

Prabashi is looking for your participation in the following categories

• a dance drama for kids,
• a dance drama for grown-ups, and
• a dance program presenting an adaptation of Rabindranath in modern media including films.
• additional group performances.

We are inviting dancers, vocalists, singers, and instrumentalists for these categories. If you are interested in leading or participating in any of these group performances, please sign up using the following Google form.

Registration deadline: Sunday, April 23rd, 2023

This year we are encouraging more group performances. If you are unable to perform in a group, please fill out the relevant section in the registration form. Please note that due to time constraints, priorities are given to group performances over solo.

After the registration window is closes, individual participants and group leaders will be mapped to each category and notified for rehearsal and next steps.

Wishing every one a very Happy New Year – 2023. We are hoping that 2023 will bring in all the happiness in your lives and we will be able to strengthen our bond as a community to reach new milestones of success. On the same note, Prabashi Portland is proud to bring in our first celebration of the year –  Prabashi Saraswati Pujo 2023 on Saturday Jan 28th. This is that much awaited time of the year when we welcome Ma Saraswati – the Goddess of knowledge, learning, wisdom and music.

We will be encouraging everyone to come together and make this effort our first grand success of 2023. Pujo rituals will start at 10 am and Anjali will happen at 11:30 am. Please follow the webform below to purchase your tickets.

Lunch coupons are available for purchase separately and is NOT a part of entry ticket.

Quiz and Cultural event are canceled. Bose Anko will take place 11 am – noon.

Due to low number of responses, we are forced to cancel this year’s Quiz and Cultural event. We sincerely thank all those who have expressed interest for these events so far. Prabashi is committed to organizing such events in the future to showcase talents from our community.

However, Bose Anko has garnered considerable interest and we are thrilled to host this event for our young talents at Puja Mandap starting at 11 am.
