We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Durga Puja Celebrations, spanning over three exciting weekends! Join us for a grand celebration filled with joy, culture, and festivities as we come together to honor the divine goddess Durga.

Prabashi council is excited to announce that a beautiful new Durga idol has been commissioned for our upcoming Durga Puja celebration with the donations from the community. The new Durga idol has been crafted by renowned artisan from Kumortuli, Kolkata. This exquisite piece reflects traditional artistry while incorporating modern elements that resonate with our community’s vibrant spirit.

Highlights of the Event:

• Pujo: No distraction, 2.5 days of pujo so that patrons can enjoy with grandeur and devotion. We will focus on elaborate rituals, vibrant dances, and deep spiritual reverence of the aarati and dhunuchi naach.
• Concerts: Enjoy electrifying performances by renowned Bollywood singer Sukhwinder Singh. Sourendro-Soumyajit will enlighten Bijoya get together with their raag-based fusions of age-old Bengali songs.
• Cultural Program: Witness traditional dance performances, music recitals, and drama showcasing our rich heritage from our local community followed by a Mahabhoj like last time. Please note our cultural program date is changed from 5th Oct to 6th Oct, Sunday.
