As the dawn of Mahalaya 2025 approaches, we are thrilled to begin preparations for one of our most cherished and spiritually uplifting celebrations of the year! Mahalaya marks the beginning of Devi Paksha, and itβs our time to unite in joy, tradition, music, and devotion.
This year, we are excited to once again host the Mahalaya Cultural Event, filled with performances that celebrate our rich Bengali heritage β from dance dramas and songs to theatrical presentations.

Team Lead Registration Deadline closed on: August 10th, 2025
General Registration: August 12th β August 24th, 2025
π Guidelines for Proposals:
Prabashi is committed to promoting inclusivity, fairness, and transparency. As a Team Lead, we encourage you to uphold these values and create space for both seasoned performers and newcomers.
To ensure a balanced and engaging event, we suggest the following time limits:
Group size of 5-10: 10 minutes
Group size of 11-20: 20 minutes
Group size of 20 and above: 30 minutes
We encourage group performances and expect team leads to accommodate individual performers who sign up through open registration.
Due to scheduling constraints, we discourage participation in multiple groups.
If multiple requests are received under the same category, proposals will be evaluated based on the number of participants, clarity, and diverse representation of art forms.
We understand the commitment required to be a team lead, Prabashi Cultural and Technical team will stay involved to assist you through the process and logistics.
